We are seeing a lot of these concept videos these days which I think is great. By the time we have mass AR delivery technologies in place UI concepts will be well explored.

A team in the Google [x] group has started Project Glass to build this kind of technology which is along the lines of my PhD research into NUI. I think the key here is interface has to be simple and out of your way and the physical glasses have to look cool or just look normal.
Once those two elements come together it will be the perfect storm for this ..I can see it now with people walking around talking to themselves .. actually nothing really new about that.

Sony Computer Science Laboratories (Sony CSL) Inc developed a touch panel that can generate tactile feedback and detect the amount of pressure applied to the panel.
The panel is targeted at mobile phones and was demonstrated at Open House 2010, which took place May 28, 2010. It can detect not only the x and y coordinates of a fingertip but also the pressure applied in the direction of the z-axis.
